Terrell Gaston-Burnett

Terrell Gaston-Burnett is a patent engineer with a Mechanical Engineering degree from Oakland University.

A recent graduate of Oakland University, Terrell worked as an Assistant Maintenance Engineer at the Pfizer Active Pharmaceutical Ingredient East Plant in Portage, MI. He was responsible for troubleshooting chemical process equipment issues and extending the usable life of equipment through proper preventative maintenance programs. He performed root cause analysis (RCA) of equipment failures and ensured compliance with federal regulations.

 

Terrell also provided small group math tutoring through Math 4 Success, a tutoring service serving math students in the city of Detroit.

Terrell holds an Associate of Science degree in Engineering from Kalamazoo Valley Community College and a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Oakland University.

Terrell is a member of the National Society of Black Engineers (NSBE), and holds a Six Sigma Green Belt Certification. He is also a Green Build Scholar and member, and passed the LEED Green Associate exam.
