Thomas Bejin is a member of the firm. Tom concentrates his practice on intellectual property litigation, strategic counseling and freedom to operate studies. Tom has handled patent, trademark and trade secret cases in State and Federal courts throughout the country.
His achievements include securing victories for his clients in matters before the International Trade Commission, multi-million dollar settlements, a rare temporary restraining order in a patent infringement case, and positive outcomes before the Patent Trial and Appeal Board.
Tom has significant trial experience and has appeared in well over one hundred cases in more than twenty different states. Tom has represented hundreds of clients, ranging in size from start-up companies to global enterprises. He has served clients in diverse fields such as automotive technology, wireless communication, lasers, robotics and medical devices. More recently, Tom has represented clients in IPR proceedings. Tom’s representation has regularly involved providing strategic advice related to directing innovation and maximizing shareholder value.
Tom is a graduate of University of Michigan Law School (J.D., cum laude, 1992) and University of Michigan College of Engineering (B.S.M.E., 1989).
